Our Commitment to GDPR

Radiant Expanse is committed to protecting the personal data of all individuals, including those who reside in the European Economic Area (EEA). Although we are an Australian company, we recognise and respect the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and extend these protections to all our customers regardless of location.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data under the following legal bases:

Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of Access

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We will provide this information free of charge within one month of your request.

Right to Rectification

If you believe any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or complete this information.

Right to Erasure

Also known as the "right to be forgotten," you may request that we delete your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for its original purpose or you withdraw your consent.

Right to Restrict Processing

You may request that we limit the processing of your personal data in certain situations, such as when you contest the accuracy of the data or object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance.

Right to Object

You may object to processing of your personal data based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes. We will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds.

Rights Related to Automated Decision Making

You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not currently use automated decision-making processes.

Data Transfers

As an Australian company, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in Australia. Australia has been recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. We also implement appropriate safeguards for any international data transfers.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Service records are typically retained for seven years. Marketing data is retained until you withdraw consent or request deletion.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including:

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. If the breach is likely to result in high risk to you, we will also notify you directly.
